Matakana –is one of our favourite weekend escapes and a gem located only 45 minutes north of Auckland- easy!
The Matakana region is a foodie’s paradise and well known for its famers market on the weekend, cutesy boutiques, and cafes, restaurants and of course there is the spectacular vineyards that you sample a tipple or two !

Our home in Matakana is the gorgeous Plume Villas. Luxurious accommodation set in a tranquil setting, Plume offers onsite restaurant, cellar door, swimming pool , pentaque court– you will never want to leave ! 
You must as there is loads to sample at the Farmers Market on Saturday morning and after have brekkie at the Plume Café – yum !

Your Mini Matakana break starts on a Thursday  includes :-
Return transfers from central Auckland city to Matakana- should you choose to drive yourself – no problem !
Lunch at The Sawmill Brewery on our way to Matakana
3 nights accommodation at Plume Villas  -share twin Tui Suite with breakfast on the first day at Plume Café
